Beverley is excited to be commemorating the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt with a Medieval Banquet in The Minster on Friday 23rd, events in St Mary's Church on Saturday 24th and in The Guildhall and Coronation Gardens on Sunday 25th followed by a Medieval Procession on Sunday at 4.45pm through Beverley's ancient streets to The Minster. A service of thanksgiving for King Henry V's victory at Agincourt on the feast day of St John of Beverley's translation will be held at 5.30pm.
Local schoolchildren have decorated pennant flags to commemorate Agincourt 600 and these will be on display at the various events and held high during the procession on Sunday.
