Beal begins work on select development in beautiful Beverley

Award-winning Beal Homes has begun groundworks for a hotly-anticipated development in the East Yorkshire town hailed as one of Britain’s best places to live.

St Mary’s View in Beverley will offer a stunning selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, as well as three-bedroom bungalows, including many of Beal’s most popular and latest house types. The £23m development will feature 90 homes, with the first buyers expected to move into their new properties in summer 2022.

St Mary’s View offers an exceptionally rare opportunity for househunters to secure a luxury new home in a select development just a short walk from Beverley’s charming town centre.

The tree-fringed site is just a stone’s throw from Beverley’s beautiful Westwood pasture, one of East Yorkshire’s most popular walking spots and also home to the town’s picturesque racecourse and golf course. Almost 600 potential buyers have already registered their interest in St Mary’s View, although there has been no marketing activity for the development before now.

The start of works on the 7.3-acre site, off Poplars Way, around a mile from the heart of the town centre, will generate further interest in the development and househunters are now being urged to join the registration list to ensure they are invited to the sales launch later this year.

The Sunday Times has named Beverley as one of the UK’s Best Places to Live, saying the history, culture, shops, restaurants, pubs and green spaces in the “gorgeous Georgian market town” all contribute to an outstanding quality of life.

With its cobbled streets, magnificent Minster, historic architecture, excellent schools and other facilities, Beverley has always been a popular choice for homebuyers. In recent years its appeal has increased with the opening of the popular Flemingate shopping and leisure destination and an influx of prestige retail brands, including Jo Malone, Jigsaw, Space NK, The White Company and Hotel Chocolat.
