BEVERLEY PUPPET FESTIVAL: w/c 15th JUNE

There's lots in store for you this week online at the Beverley Puppet Festival!

On Monday 15th June, join MOVING MOUTH MONSTERS with Sokobauno Theatre/Little Fawn (of Glasgow).

Make a simple muppet-style puppet from paper plates. Learn how to make them talk. With a little practice your puppet characters will soon be singing songs and dancing to your favourite music.

Then it's time for ADVENTURES IN HOME ANIMATION on Wednesday 17th June, with A Bird in the Hand Theatre (of Todmorden).

Alison Duddle from A Bird in the Hand Theatre explores the amazing potential in making animated films using just a phone, a free app, a table and chairs and some stuff she found on a little walk outside. 

To end the week on Saturday 20th June we've got BRINGING PUPPETS TO LIFE with Hand to Mouth Theatre (of Southampton).

Create the magic of effective puppet movement in this fun “how to” workshop. Martin and Su from Hand to Mouth Theatre will demonstrate a simple puppet sequence of planting a seed and growing, just as it happens in their much-loved show “Piggery Jokery”.
