Brilliant Beverley Join Ert In Celebrating Our Lovely Town

Brilliant Beverley was ERT's theme on Sunday, and it was so popular that they've decided to roll it over for a second week. There's just so much to celebrate in our lovely town!

We enjoyed beautiful artwork, here are just two examples; Mimi Claughton 'Beverley Minster' (left) and John Geekie 'Kitchen Lane Allotments' (right). We were also treated to an array of fantastic original poetry, to catch up on a selection simply click here.

How exciting that this Sunday 17th May we get to celebrate our town all over again... with more artwork, more poetry and more memories.

Our Bake-Off inspired theme Brilliant Baking will now be postponed to Sunday 31st. If you have poems, artwork, or even favourite family recipes related to 'baking' email sue@eastridingtheatre.co.uk by 26th May when we will be selecting some to be heard on 31st May.

And while we're here don't forget...

A wry, new, six part radio drama from John Godber, which takes place over breakfast in the kitchen of a Yorkshire family. Tension, comedy, and burnt toast whilst they wrestle with the realities of Lockdown UK. We'll be sharing episodes starting this Friday 15th May at 2pm.

Join She Productions Friday 15th May LIVE at 3pm for their performance of The Three Little Pigs.

Alice Palmer will be LIVE on the East Riding Theatre facebook page on Saturday 16th May at 7pm. She's bringing live classical music from her living room to yours!

And coming soon...!
