Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band perform in aid of SSAFA and St Mary's restoration appeal

St Mary's Church are honoured to welcome renowned Yorkshire brass band – Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band – for a rousing concert of Remembrance. The event will take place in St Mary’s Church on Saturday 9th November at 7.30pm - tomorrow night!
The charity gala event is in aid of SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity) and St Mary’s restoration appeal.
Organisers are extremely excited that this award-winning colliery band is in town. Their programme includes classics for Remembrance including ‘Nimrod’ from Elgar’s Enigma Variations and ‘Jupiter’ from Holst’s The Planets.
