The Home Specialists celebrating 85 years in business

It’s six years since Leightons opened their store at Swinemoor Lane, but alongside that, this well-known family firm is
celebrating another anniversary - 85 years in business in the area!

Neal Booker, his brother Chris and sister Suzanne are the second generation of the family to be at the helm of Leightons, and they head a team of friendly and efficient sales staff who take a genuine pleasure in helping customers.

The store in Beverley is a favourite destination with local people as it offers such great value in beds, bedroom furniture and carpets. Expert fitting of carpets is all part of the service on offer. Leightons describe themselves as ‘the home specialists’ because over the years they have developed a wealth of experience in presenting and stocking the ranges that local
people love to see in their own homes.

Managing Director Neal Booker said: “We make sure we offer the best quality with our carpet ranges exclusive to Leightons at prices that are real value, and with names like Harrison Beds, Sleepeezee, Millbrook Beds, Ulster Carpets, Brintons and bedroom furniture from Wiemann and Welcome we have something for all types of home from traditional to contemporary. We’re looking forward to continuing our success at Beverley.”
