Wellbeing Challenge

Local mental health charity Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are working to promote good mental health for World Mental Health Day by encourage people to sign up to their 5 Ways to Wellbeing Challenge.

The challenge means to take steps to improve your mental wellbeing with the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’. It’s simple- complete something from each of the 5 ways to wellbeing during the 7-13th October 2019. The 5 ways to wellbeing are Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.

So far we have had over 40 individuals, businesses, schools and sports groups signed up for better mental health.

Jack Moore, Marketing Officer at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, said “World Mental Health day is a great opportunity for us to promote good mental health. It’s fantastic to see so many people sign up to take part in our challenge already. Mental health problems can affect anyone at any time, so it’s good to take time to look after our own mental health. I hope people will take this opportunity to not only look after their own mental health, but also to spread the word about good mental health”

You can sign up to the challenge for free at www.heymind.org.uk/5w2wchallenge

If you sign up, we will provide more information about things you can do to help your mental wellbeing.

We are also asking people to share their activities on social media with #5W2WChallenge and tagging us @MindHEY.
