East Yorkshire Open Studios Open all Weekend (and next)

East Riding has a wealth of talented people who are opening their studios (many located in their homes) to show you their creations and discuss their techniques. Ceramics, painting, jewellery, photography, print-making, embroidery, textiles, sculpture and glass are all on display, the vast majority for sale.

The artwork is often inspired by the locality and could give you the confidence to put your hand to creating something special.

It's easy to plan your route around studios by heading over to the website where the artists have been grouped into 3 different country areas - Beverley and Hull; Pocklington area and Driffield and Coast. You can make a day of it!

Do check the website or pick up a booklet from Tourist Information for opening times and take cash or a cheque-book as not all artists are able to accept payment by card.
