This is the last chance for Beverley’s most striking specs wearers to show off their style and be in with a chance of winning £10,000 cash. Although they only have until Sunday 30 June to submit their entries.

Dance diva, Oti Mabuse, who is fronting Specsavers’ Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition, is encouraging glasses wearers across Beverley to submit their entries. But the deadline is just days away!

Jeremy Beesley, store director at Specsavers in Beverley, says: ‘We want all our glasses customers in Beverley to show the country how great they look in their specs. We know we’ve got some great contenders who could be in for the running to win the cash prize.’

Those aged 16 and over just need to share a selfie and tell Specsavers what their glasses mean to them to be in with chance of winning.

Seven finalists, plus a social media favourite voted for by the public, will attend a celebrity-packed awards ceremony in London, with one overall winner scooping the top award and cash prize.

For every entry accepted, Specsavers will donate £1 to children’s anti-bullying charity Kidscape. Over the last 10 years the competition has raised more than half a million pounds for the charity, helping to provide training, support and advice for children, parents, schools and those who may be affected by cases of bullying and abuse in the UK.

For the last chance of scooping the biggest accolade in the specs-wearing world, glasses wearers can enter the competition online at loveglasses.specsavers.co.uk.
