Tree Planting a great success

Teachers, parents and the local community give their time to help plant trees on Sunday at Woodmansey School.

As a small school and small Parent, Teacher and Friends Association, the support at events like this is so important. If the PTFA committee had been left to plant all those trees it would have taken them significantly longer than one day. Having well over 100 people on site that day was so amazing.

In addition to planting trees they also raised just over £200 by buying name tags and refreshments. Every penny will go towards the target  of £1500 to create a sports pitch for the children.

Already planned for future events are a Christmas Fair; cash4clothes collection; family Christmas disco and table decoration workshop.

Woodmansey PTFA Committee send a big Thank you for everyone's help on Sunday and hope to see everyone at a future event.
