Join us for an evening of live music in the relaxed Café Bar of the East Riding Theatre, where the Candlelight Sessions brings you up close and personal with the artist; candlelit, in-the-round, close, and completely unamplified. Be a fly-on-the-wall to a completely ‘off the cuff’ music session. Hear some of the most hotly-tipped stars in concert like you’ve never heard them before – or are likely ever to again.
Backed by our top-quality house musicians, the guest artist takes the audience on a journey where anything can happen; where every note hangs on through the unpredictability of the situation, and every lyric echoes tenderly around the ambience of the unique café space. Our guest artist for October is the highly-acclaimed Pete Dilley; a rising singer-songwriter from County Durham with 4 albums under his belt and impressive CV including playing alongside Chloe Hall & Beth Neilsen Chapman. Influenced by the 60’s folk revival expect a plethora of great songwriting & some chosen classics – performed on acoustic guitar, dobro & banjo.
