What's on this across the East Riding
Mon 5th August 2024Ecology at the Beach:
The Deep is holding their popular Ecology at the Beach sessions this summer, in partnership with Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
On Tuesday, 6 August, visitors can try their hand at beachcombing, creating marine artwork, identifying the ecology of the Yorkshire coastline, and more.
At 11.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-2.30pm, visitors can explore the rock pools along the beach at Sewerby.
Glass, Glorious Glass:
While we can often take glass for granted, an exhibit at Sewerby Hall is looking to celebrate it.
Running throughout the summer holidays, until Sunday 15 September, the exhibition is planned to celebrate drinking glasses. It will feature Peter Rayner’s significant collection of Georgian glassware.

On Wednesday, 7 August, winter-themed events will take place across venues, including Bridlington Spa, Sewerby Hall and Gardens and the iconic land train.
The special series of events are designed to attract visitors back for the events taking place across Christmas and New Year.
