Westbound lane closure A164 between Ward Way Roundabout and Victoria/Morrisons Roundabout.

Reminder.
The A164 will close again between Ward Way roundabout and Victoria / Morrison’s roundabout to westbound traffic in order for construction to continue.
Work will continue to change the current single lane carriageway to a dual carriageway between Victoria / Morrison’s roundabout and Ward Way roundabout, which will also require Regiment / Lincoln Way Roundabout to be widened to accommodate the additional lanes this will create and to connect the new carriageway, which is currently under construction to connect traffic directly from the A164 to Regiment / Lincoln Way Roundabout.
In order to keep as much traffic flowing as possible while maintaining a sufficiently safe working area for required plant and construction workers, it is necessary to close the A164 between Victoria / Morrison’s roundabout and Ward Way Roundabout to westbound traffic from 6am on Monday 06 January 2025 to midnight on Saturday 12 July 2025.
During this time, the Eastbound Lane will remain open. For the same period, the road between Regiment / Lincoln Way Roundabout and Dunnock Drive will be closed in both directions.
The footpath will remain open until further notice.
