The Ghost Train Beverley Memorial Hall 13th 16th November 2024 Curtain Up 7 30pm

Beverley Theatre Company (BTC) are pleased to announce that their next production will be the classic comedy thriller ‘The Ghost Train, by Arnold Ridley, probably better known as Private Godfrey in ‘Dad’s Army’.

Sis passengers find themselves stranded late at night in the waiting room of an isolated Cornish railway station. Ignoring the ghostly tales and dire warnings of the stationmaster, they decide to stay where they are until morning – with terrifying consequences. Finally, all is revealed and the details of a fiendish plot are laid bare

The play marks the return to directing of Cheryl Giles after a period of appearing in recent productions such as ‘Hi de Hi’ and ‘Dracula’.

The cast includes many familiar faces, with Emma Drew, Alison Healy, Gemma Briggs and Helen Wild being joined on stage, after an absence of far too many years, by Cathy Derrick. Chris Dunnachie, Neville Slater, Sam Drew, Colin Walls and Tony Musgrave also tread the boards once again.

The play will be performed with the kind permission of Samuel French and Concord Theatricals, at 7.30pm, from Wednesday 13th November to Saturday 16th November at the Beverley Memorial Hall, Lairgate, Beverley, with a licensed bar. Tickets are priced at £10.00 and can be purchased either:
