Sunday 25th October Remember To Put The Clocks Back 1 Hour

Sunday 25th October the Clocks Go Back it marks the end of British Summer Time, when at 2am the clocks go back one hour and we return to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

It means an extra hour us, but it also signals noticeably shorter days and darker evenings.

For motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, the change is a useful reminder to take extra care as journeys home may now be made in darkness.

Check your car lights, make sure bicycles have working front and rear lights, and wear bright or reflective clothing when out and about.

At home, the darker evenings are also a good opportunity to check outdoor lighting, security and pathways.
