Stunning new exhibition at Beverley Guildhall: ‘Beverley, by Kloskk’
Wed 28th June 2023A new exhibition, “Beverley, by Kloskk”, opens at the Beverley Guildhall on Wednesday, 5 July, featuring many of the stunning photos of Beverley taken by Kloskk Tyrer, who is well known to Facebook users as one of the town’s “visual storytellers”.
Fiona Jenkinson, curator of the Guildhall, compiled the exhibition as a result of numerous requests from visitors to see more of Kloskk’s photos. Fiona said: “Despite the fact that Kloskk was not keen for her name to be used in the exhibition, her reputation will be a key element in drawing people to see it, as she is a regular contributor to Facebook and people love her views of the town.
“In fact, if you have ever wondered about the source of her name, this is your opportunity to find out more, as we will also be featuring some of the fascinating items that have been a source of inspiration in her life”.
“Beverley, by Kloskk” opens at the Beverley Guildhall on Wednesday, 5 July and runs until Friday, 27 October.
The Guildhall, which is located at the far end of Register Square, is open every Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 4pm. Admission to the building is free.
