Stage4Beverley Winter Music Festival 9th - 16th February 2025

February sees the return of the Stage4Beverley Winter Music Festival in Beverley which has become a major event in the town’s calendar bringing music, comedy, the spoken word and for the first time dance (Northern Soul) to venues around the town.

Workshops, the Horizon Stage for young emerging musicians, a special concert featuring local Ukrainian musicians and singers, and finishing off the weekend evenings with a Late Night Festival Club, all provide more informal events at prices that everyone can afford.

Venues for the festival include the East Riding Theatre, the Parkway Cinema, Toll Gavel United Church, The Memorial Hall, Monk’s Walk Inn and Wild Organic Eatery.

Headline artists appearing include: Martyn Joseph a singer songwriter with a difference, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra bringing the sounds of the 20’s and 30’s, Henry Normal and Nigel Planer bring their own brand of Valentine celebrations with poetry, stories and comedy. Carol Ann Duffy with John Sampson, the UK’s the first female Poet Laureate, and Michael McGoldrick, John McCusker and John Doyle offering fiery music from North of the Border. Rob Heron & the Tea Pad Orchestra bring Rockabilly, Blues, Country, Swing, Soul and Juan Martín one of the World’s greatest Flamenco guitarists. Finally Steve Knightley, founder and lead singer of the group Show of Hands performs his solo show. For the dancers we have the cream of the Northern Soul circuit The Northern Soultrain.

Other local artists will be performing over the weekend.
