The grounds of Sewerby Hall, Gardens and Zoo have awoken for the spring and will be open to the public from Saturday, 29th March.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council looks forward to welcoming back visitors from near and far this spring with access to all areas of the grounds upon the reopening.
Colourful flowers have bloomed across the grounds making Sewerby Gardens look more inviting than ever before, a perfect time for visitors to explore the beautiful scenery whilst taking in the springtime fresh air.
Sewerby Hall itself has recently had a full spring clean, visitors will be able to enjoy this whilst strolling around the hall, soaking up the rich history and carefully curated artwork and artefacts.
The animals at Sewerby Zoo are ready to be greeted by enthusiastic visitors with the opening seeing the return of animal encounter experiences with the llamas, alpacas and penguins.
There is lots of fun to be had by the family this Easter with Rusticus, including the Three Musketeers, Heroes and Villains, and Knights of the Round Table, giving visitors the chance to learn new skills and set their imaginations free through interactive entertainment.
During easter there will be weekly magic shows, face painting and the opportunity to make natural art with Wildcats.
This Easter, join Active Communities with their sports activities, team building and archery sessions.
This two-week bonanza rounds off with the live action Medieval Jousting on Easter Sunday.

The Clock Tower Café will be open with a selection of delicious food and drink with the ‘scone of the day’ being a popular choice amongst visitors.
