Sofa Workshop and its brand new collaboration with the V&A
Thu 13th September 2018In the first comprehensive furniture collection drawn from the rich archive of the world’s leading museum of art,design and performance,the V&A have collaborated with British-based sofa maker SofaWorkshop to create three new furniture ranges and six exclusive fabric designs.
The fabric collection includes ; Bursa, Cathay Bloom, Morton’s Marble, Kaleidoscope ,LoveBirds and Coromandeland demonstrates the breadth of opulent designs preserved within the V&A archive.
The Shaftesbury chair, Thurloe sofa, chair and stool and the Walpole sofa and foot stool take further inspiration from the archive using SofaWorkshop’s skilled crafts mentore work orginal shapes for a modern customer.
