Sewerby Hall and Gardens have an exciting line-up of events this May half term, from Monday 25th to Friday 29th May.
The Spring Spectacular offers a range of family-friendly events, and visitors can book online to receive a discount on entry. There is a packed schedule of activities and entertainment, including interactive adventures with Rusticus, animal encounters, zoo craft activities, magic shows and more.
Rusticus will be bringing a series of performances across the week, including The Great Flying Caper on Monday 25 May, The Search for the Golden Fleece on Tuesday 26 May and Knights of the Round Table on Thursday 28 May, bringing medieval theatre to life.
Magic shows and face painting will take place on Wednesday 27 May, while Friday 29 May will see visitors get back to nature with Wildcats, explore Things That Fly, celebrate Amy Johnson’s 90th year at Sewerby and meet llamas, donkeys or goats. Zoo activities will also run throughout the week, including the chance to find out about the Humboldt penguins.
Councillor Nick Coultish, cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism said, “We’re delighted to offer such an exciting and varied programme for the May half term at Sewerby Hall and Gardens.
“With everything from Rusticus performances and magic shows to animal encounters and hands-on activities, there’s plenty to keep families entertained. It’s a fantastic opportunity for visitors to enjoy a full day out.”
