Risby Homes launches new Maple Croft development in Cherry Burton

Risby Homes Launches New Maple Croft Development In Cherry Burton

East Yorkshire housebuilder Risby Homes has officially launched Maple Croft, a new collection of 39 homes in the sought-after village of Cherry Burton.

The family-run housebuilder has released the first homes for sale at the development, which will feature 12 different house types ranging from two-bedroom apartments available through the First Homes scheme to spacious five-bedroom family homes.

The launch marks an exciting new chapter for Risby Homes, with a brand-new Show Home and Sales Office at Maple Croft also due to open its doors for the first time later this month.

For Risby Homes, the development has been a long time coming.

Olly Barrett, Construction Director at Risby Homes, said:
“We’ve wanted to build in Cherry Burton for years. It’s a great village and exactly the kind of location we look for, with a pub, shop and school in the village, the countryside on the doorstep and Beverley just a few miles away.

“With Maple Croft, we really wanted to create something special. Some of the house types will be familiar to people who know Risby Homes, but having built these homes before, we know them incredibly well. We’ve been able to take what works, look at the little quirks and details, and find ways to make them even better. Alongside those are some completely new house types and design details we haven’t delivered before.

“We’ve had a huge amount of interest in Maple Croft already, and we know people have been patiently waiting to come and see it. But we’d always rather take the extra time to get the Show Home right than rush to open the doors before we’re completely happy with it. We want people to walk in for the first time and really see what we’ve been working towards.”

That attention to detail runs throughout Maple Croft. Across both new and established house types, Risby Homes has revisited layouts and design details with the benefit of years of experience building homes for families across East Yorkshire.

Rather than focusing on bedroom numbers alone, the homes have been designed around how people will actually use their spaces day to day – from kitchens with proper room to cook and dayrooms opening onto the garden, to separate lounges, practical utility spaces and considered storage.

An exceptional specification as standard The same approach extends to the specification. Risby Homes is known for its exceptional standard specification, and Maple Croft is no different.

Underfloor heating to the ground floor, integrated NEFF appliances, granite worktops, oak internal doors and solar panels are all included as standard, alongside many more carefully considered features throughout the homes.

Buyers will also have the opportunity to personalise their new home, working directly with the trusted local kitchen, flooring and tiling specialists Risby Homes has built long-standing relationships with.

A new development in the heart of Cherry Burton Just four miles from Beverley, Cherry Burton offers the balance of village life and easy access to the wider area that Risby Homes looks for when choosing where to build.

The village has a shop, pub and primary school, all within walking distance of Maple Croft, while open countryside and the Yorkshire Wolds are close by.

Phase 1 is now available to reserve, with a range of house types suited to buyers at different stages of their moving journey.

Anyone interested in making Maple Croft their home is encouraged to speak to Risby Homes about where they are in their moving journey – from whether they have a property to sell to their anticipated timescales and the homes they are interested in. Risby Homes can then help them understand the next best steps towards securing their preferred home.

New Show Home and Sales Office opening this September

Risby Homes will open the doors to its new Maple Croft Show Home and Sales Office for the first time on Friday 25th September from 10am, marking the occasion with a Macmillan Coffee Morning.

The event will give visitors the first opportunity to step inside the new Show Home, explore the spaces Risby Homes has been working to bring together and find out more about the homes available at Maple Croft. Coffee and cake will be served throughout the day in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The opening will also mark the relocation of Risby Homes’ Sales Office from Hornby Walk in Walkington to its new home at Maple Croft.

Risby Homes has been building homes and communities across East Yorkshire since 1993. Family-run from the start, the housebuilder works with carefully selected local suppliers and takes a personal approach to creating homes designed around how people actually live.

Maple Croft is located off Canada Drive, Cherry Burton, HU17 7RQ.
