Reindeer Wander Through Beverley To Find Santa S Sleigh 1

The Reindeer woke, cold and confused, they just had to find Santa's Sleigh.

It was a soft winter dawn over the Westwood, the Reindeer were warm in the bushes. They knew they had to start their journey, and bravely stepped out to look for food and find their way, setting off on their journey to find the Sleigh.

Frost glittered on their coats, and the gentle crunch of soft ice under their hooves they stepped out from the undergrowth, looking up for help and headed to the Golf Club for food and directions.

With each step forward they had one purpose guiding them to find Santa and the sleigh, the Christmas Tree Festival was coming soon, would they get there in time?

Staff at the Golf Club noticed the Reindeer, they ran to get some food. The reindeer looked hungry and thirsty, the carrots gave them the nourishment to keep them going. Fed and watered, feeling good, they left the Golf Club, directions given, and headed towards the Black Mill.

As the reindeer reached the edge of the Westwood, they headed towards the Centre of Beverley, arriving at the Beverley Arms looking for more food and encouragement. Moving on to the Market Cross, time for a carrot or two, wondering what the excitement was as local people gasped in delight at the sight of them wandering through town, guided by the Christmas trees. Were they a sign?

As they made their way down Toll Gavel, through Wednesday market and onto Flemingate, Children, parents and shopkeepers rushed forward first inquisitively, some offering food, others just to welcome them and help them on their way. The Reindeer naturally lifted spirits, putting smiles on faces, the echoes of laughter, each time the reindeer bowed their heads gratefully, munching happily to the delight of all around them.

As they walked up to the entrance people cheerfully guided them to the door, helping them up the steps and into Highgate entrance, as they stepped in they could see the lanterns were lit to brighten the way, a dazzling display of trees christmas music, workshops and the smell of Christmas, guiding them to Santa's Sleigh.

The Reindeer now safe, ready to welcome Children and adults, to have photos taken with them, the perfect family photo for what is the perfect family time.

The Reindeer and the 150 trees in the Minster, welcome you as you enter, creating an atmosphere, one you will never forget. It is the festive spirit for all to remember the spirit for the perfect Christmas ever.
