The much-loved Pub to Pub Walk, hosted by Dove House Hospice has once again proved to be a success to raise a glass for with this year’s iteration raising an outstanding £15,058 for the hospice and other local charities across Hull and East Yorkshire.
On Saturday 9th August, 311 walkers laced up their boots and took on the 10.5 mile route through Beverley, Cherry Burton and the surrounding countryside. Beginning at The Potting Shed in Beverley and finishing at FIREPIT in Flemingate Shopping Centre, participants enjoyed well-earned refreshment stops at The Highfield, The Hayride, The Bay Horse, Molescroft Inn and The Rose & Crown along the way.
Dan Clipson, Senior Fundraiser at Dove House Hospice said, “This year’s Pub to Pub Walk has been another incredible success. Thanks to the amazing support from our community, we’ve raised over £15,00 to help local charities that make such a difference across the region. It’s fantastic to see people come together, challenge themselves and have fun whilst supporting causes close to their hearts”.
Funds raised from the walk will benefit four local charities: Dove House Hospice, RSPCA Hull and East Yorkshire, fitmums and friends and HER Breast Friends.
Organisers expressed their gratitude to all walkers, sponsors and supporters who made the day such a success – and confirmed that planning is already underway for the event’s return on Saturday 6 th June 2026 with a brand new route taking in areas of Hull, Cottingham and Skidby.
