Popular Christmas market returns to Beverley this December
Wed 16th October 2024The Beverley Festival of Christmas, which is the largest one-day Christmas Market in the UK, will be returning to the town on Sunday, 8th December.
The festival, sponsored by The Beverley Arms - part of the Daniel Thwaites hospitality company - is now in its 28th year.
Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland, as more than 120 stalls brimming with Christmas gifts and local treats take over the historic market town.
The festival attracts thousands of visitors to the East Riding from all corners of the UK to experience fine Christmas food, drink, arts and crafts.
This year’s event will be take place from 10am to 4pm, taking over Saturday Market, North Bar Within and Wednesday Market, with links to Flemingate Shopping Centre.
New for 2024 will see North Bar’s Georgian Quarter feature East Yorkshire businesses and traders and showcase the wonderful array of local producers.
The weekly Saturday Market on 7 December will also have a Christmas theme.

"It is always a hugely popular event, with visitors from all over the UK coming to enjoy the festive stalls and entertainment. I’m sure it will be popular again this year and we look forward to welcoming residents and visitors as we get into the festive spirit in preparation for Christmas.’’

This year’s Festival of Christmas has been supported through UK Government funding.
