Toronto, the capital of Ontario, is the largest city in Canada and also one of the most diverse.

It's home to a mix of tourist attractions, from museums and galleries to Toronto's famous landmark, the 553-meter CN Tower, it is one of the city's must-see attractions and also the most impossible to miss. Towering above the downtown, this Canadian icon can be seen from almost everywhere in the city, and if you dare, you can walk on the glass floor or simply relax by taking the ferry to Toronto Islands. Located at 351 meters is the revolving 360 Restaurant, featuring fine dining and some of the best views from a table anywhere in Toronto.

The best time of the year to visit Toronto is from late April through May, and from mid-September through mid-October. During these times, the sidewalks will come to life with patio eateries, cultural events, and pedestrian markets. Centreville Amusement Park and other Toronto Island attractions will be open, and parks will be buzzing with activities.

Events going on in May:

Canadian Music Week - The biggest new music festival in Canada hosts hundreds of bands at over 60 venues throughout the city.

Doors Open Toronto - Around 150 significant buildings open their doors for free to the public for one weekend a year. Participating buildings include museums, historical sites, government buildings, broadcasting facilities, houses of worship, and other attractions.

Day Trips from Toronto to Niagara Falls - A must do whilst in Toronto, would be a visit to Niagara Falls, One World Travel would be happy to arrange your day trip! When visiting Niagara Falls, you could do a jetboat along the Lower Niagara River at 80 km/h for a ride that will leave you soaking wet and thrilled to bits or take a helicopter ride to see the Falls and Niagara. You get breath taking views of both the CN Tower in Toronto and the Falls in Niagara.

Why not tick it off your bucket list and visit Toronto, Canada.
