Oh My Dog! Pawtograph signing party with Peggy the hairless pug.

Award winning dog boutique in East Yorkshire is making a splash to celebrate their 3rd Birthday with a dog pool party in the centre of Beverley and they’re inviting a very special guest.

After being crowned the ‘UKs ugliest dog’ in February 2023, Peggy the hairless pug cross from Leven in East Yorkshire landed the role of a lifetime in the highly anticipated Marvel movie ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ playing the part of Dogpool.

Peggys role has captured hearts across the globe, including that of co-Stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman who posed for photos with Peggy on the red carpet at movie premieres last month.

Now safely back on home turf with her family, on Saturday 10th August Peggy will be making an appearance for her local fans at dog boutique Oh My Dog on Dyer Lane in Beverley to coincide with the boutiques 3rd Birthday celebrations.

Peggy will be offering ‘pawtographs’ in return for donations which will go to Peggys local dog rescue charities.

On reflection of Peggys new found stardom, owner Holly Middleton said ‘The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster! From winning the title of ‘The UK’s ugliest dog to being the star of the show on the red carpet amongst Hollywood A listers! It’s mad! We always knew our Peggy was special and we look forward to meeting her local fans whilst raising money for our local dog rescue charities’.

Business owner and former BBC Radio Humberside presenter Lucy Thompson describes Oh My Dog as, ‘a fun and welcoming atmosphere for dogs and owners. Whether it’s getting your dog to sit for a pic for the ‘gram on the mini chaise lounge or just popping by for a free treat from our treat jar and a friendly chat, shopping at Oh My Dog is an experience, not a transaction and I’m really proud of that so I couldn’t let our 3rd Birthday pass us by without creating something extra special!’.

The Oh My Dog pool party promises to include ‘pawty bags’ & ‘pawsecco’ alongside a pool for dogs to cool off in and ‘pawtograph’ signings by Peggy the hairless pug who plays ‘Dogpool’ in the latest Marvel movie Deadpool and Wolverine which is out in cinemas now.

The Oh My Dog pool party for dogs will take place on Saturday 10th August 10am to 4pm at the side of Oh My Dog, 2 Dyer Lane, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 8AE.

Peggy will be offering ‘pawtograph’ signings from 2pm to 4pm.
