Oh My Dog Launches Dog Walk Of Pride To Kick Off Pride Month In Beverley

This Sunday, Beverley’s award-winning dog shop Oh My Dog invites everyone—two legged and four—to join paws and celebrate love, pride, and community at the very first Dog Walk of Pride, a joyful fundraising event marking the start of Pride Month in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

The walk begins at 4PM on Sunday 1st June from Oh My Dog, located at 2 Dyer Lane, Beverley, HU17 8AE, and will wind through some of Beverley’s most beloved spots. All are welcome to strut their stuff, whether in full rainbow glam or just with a wagging tail and a proud heart.

This fur-tastic event is a fundraiser for Beverley Pride, taking place later this summer on Saturday 16th August at Flemingate in Beverley. There’s no entry fee—just bring your pooch, your Pride, and a donation to help support one of Beverley’s most colourful and inclusive events.

“Pride is about visibility, love, and creating a safe space for everyone—and that includes our furry friends too!” said Lucy Thompson, owner of Oh My Dog. “We believe in an inclusive Beverley where everyone feels celebrated, and this walk is our way of kicking off Pride Month with wagging tails and open hearts.”

Professional photographer Molly-Rae Photography will be snapping the fabulousness along the route, capturing all the pawsome Pride vibes and canine couture for the world to see.

Expect a tail-wagging good time, with community, colour, and celebration at the heart of it all. Whether you’re LGBTQ+, an ally, a dog-lover, or just want to take part in something joyful and meaningful—this walk is for you.

Let’s walk proud. Let’s walk together. Let’s walk with Pride.
