Fri 25th May 2018A colourful new food festival will bring tastes from around the world to Beverley’s Flemingate centre next month.
The International Food and Craft Festival will offer a mouth-watering international selection of hot and cold food as well as unusual and quirky craft items and live music from local singers and musicians.

Jo Bridgeman, Events Manager at Flemingate, said: “The International Food and Craft Festival will be a great event for Beverley.
“The stalls will be located throughout the centre and there’ll be a stage for live music, which will give the event a real festival atmosphere. Beverley FM will also be broadcasting live from the event on the Saturday morning.
“We’re always keen to host events enjoyed by residents and visitors to Beverley alike and we’re sure this will prove very popular.
“The operators have an excellent reputation established over many years for organising events that enable people to experience flavours and crafts from many countries.”
The festival will be operated by RR Events, a company specialising in staging themed markets and special events in towns and cities in the UK and on the continent.
Tony Walsh, Managing Director at RR Events, said: “Our team of staff and traders have been involved in events across Europe for over 10 years and we’re delighted to add Beverley to our ever-growing list of destinations.
“We’re particularly proud of our continental-themed events – they always create an exciting atmosphere and add to the vibrancy to the towns and cities we visit.
“We’re really looking forward to holding this festival at Flemingate. The high-quality food and crafts on offer will really appeal to local residents and visitors from further afield.
“There’ll be a large number of traders at the festival, bringing the best hot and cold produce from their native countries, so there’ll be something for everyone.”
The International Food and Craft Festival will run from Friday, June 8, to Sunday, June 10. Opening times are 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.
