More homes released as buyers rush to live in beautiful Beverley
Tue 14th May 2019Award-winning housebuilder Beal Homes has released more properties in response to tremendous demand for new homes at a development in one of Britain’s best places to live.
The next phase of 12 homes at the exclusive St. John’s Fold development in Beverley has been released after buyers snapped up half of the properties off plan.
With just two properties remaining available from the first release, 28 of the 55 homes which form the development have already been sold, with the first residents due to move in by early next year.
It comes as the beautiful market town of Beverley has been named once again by the Sunday Times in the top 10 best places to live in the North of England.
Beverley’s latest accolade came after the St. John’s Fold development was launched earlier this year, with the Sunday Times highlighting the town’s beautiful Westwood pasture, racecourse, restaurants, pubs, cultural offering and good schools.
St. John’s Fold has a selection of three and four bedroom homes in 12 different house styles in a coveted location off Woodmansey Mile, close to Beverley town centre.
The latest release features homes in the heart of the development and includes a mix of three-bedroom semi and detached properties, and four-bedroom detached homes.
The newly-released homes include some of Beal’s most popular house types, the Pickering, Butterwick, Levisham II and Langdale, with prices from £265,995 to £342,995.
The three-bedroom semi-detached Pickering featuring a contemporary kitchen/dining room with French doors leading to the garden, ground floor cloakroom and master bedroom with en-suite facilities.
The Langdale is a luxury four-bedroom detached home featuring a lounge with bay window; a contemporary kitchen/ dining room with French doors leading to garden; separate utility room; ground floor cloakroom; master bedroom with en-suite shower room; family bathroom; and garage.
Sue Waudby, Beal Sales and Marketing Director, said: “The demand for homes at St. John’s Fold has been very strong indeed and we expect this latest phase of the development will be no different.
“Beverley’s attractions are now becoming known far and wide and that is fuelling interest in the local housing market.”
Beverley is home to bustling markets, a popular racecourse, award-winning pubs and restaurants, and a range of leading retail names, including Browns, Barbour, Jo Malone, The White Company and Hotel Chocolat, as well as local, independent boutiques and interior designers.
Popular retail and leisure destination Flemingate is also close to St. John’s Fold and includes the six-screen Parkway Cinema, a high-quality mix of restaurants and shops, and InflataNation, the UK’s first double-decker inflatable theme park.
Helen Morley, Sales Executive at St. John’s Fold, said the development appealed to a wide range of buyers.
She said: “So far we’ve sold properties to downsizers who want to be in walking distance of the town centre, people who want to relocate for the catchment area of the schools, first- time buyers, and couples planning a family who are looking for a larger home.
“Beverley Minster and the town centre are just a few minutes’ walk from St. John’s Fold, which also appeals to people who have reserved homes.
“With all the lovely people who have bought homes here and the size and location of the development, it’s sure to create a really nice neighbourhood feel, which fits in with Beverley’s community vibe.”
All the properties at St. John’s Fold are designed for modern life, with spacious living areas, as well as the unique opportunity under the “Beal Experience” for buyers to create a home perfectly suited to their lifestyles and tastes.
From moving walls to change the internal layout, to choosing from Beal’s extensive standard range of designer fixtures, fittings and finishes, buyers can tailor the design of their home to make it entirely bespoke.
