Following the publication of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) report in October 2025, East Riding of Yorkshire Council has established a monthly Improvement Board to oversee and drive forward its improvement journey within Adult Social Care (ASC).
The Improvement Board brings together senior leaders from across the council alongside key partners to review progress, maintain focus on priority areas, and ensure strong accountability in delivering the council’s improvement plan.
To support transparency and keep stakeholders informed, the council is now publishing monthly updates following each Improvement Board meeting.
These updates provide a clear overview of progress being made and demonstrate how activity aligns with the improvement plan developed in response to the CQC findings.
They also play an important role in keeping residents, partners, and staff connected to the work underway across ASC.
The February update is now live, and moving forward, a new update will be published each month following the Improvement Board.
