Make a Loaf for Macmillan' - Breadmaking Course for Macmillan Cancer Support

Side Oven Bakery have raised nearly £500 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support by running a special 'Make a loaf for Macmillan' Breadmaking Course.
They have donated all proceeds from the breadmaking course that was held on Saturday 16th March. The eight bakers on the course were taught by Bakery Founder Caroline Sellers and they learnt how to make various loaves and Easter buns. The course also included a homemade lunch and a tour of the farms Stoneground mill.
All the helpers on the day donated their time to allow as much as possible to be raised for this hugely worthy cause.
The Side Oven team were inspired to put on this charity bread course as a close family member Camilla Parsonage is taking part in the Macmillan Race for Life at York Races in June. Camilla has set herself a huge target of raising £10,000 and has already reached the £8,000 mark.
