The ‘Let’s Talk Money’ course, for learners aged 19 and over, is returning to the East Riding, at Cass Hall in Driffield on Wednesday 25 March from 10am to 3.30pm.
The course looks at topics such as building a budget, using online price comparison tools and signposting to other services that can support saving money.
It is designed to help residents gain a better understanding of their finances and the support networks available to improve financial literacy.
It is free to anyone with an income of less than £25,000 per year, with a fee for those who earn over that threshold.
Participants who complete the 5-hour workshop will receive a £40 voucher.
Councillor Anne Handley, East Riding of Yorkshire Council leader said, “We’re delighted to champion lifelong learning throughout the East Riding, especially when it comes to boosting financial confidence. We encourage all interested residents to explore these opportunities and register for this valuable session.”
