Join Jo Caulfield – regular guest on Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth, Just A Minute and Women’s Hour as well presenting three series of her own show, It’s That Jo Caulfield Again. Jo is an Edinburgh Festival stalwart and live circuit favourite, was Graham Norton’s lead writer for over seven years and has been seen on BBC1’s Have I Got News For You and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as BBC2’s Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Simon Evans – frequent guest on Radio 4 panel shows and writer and presenter of Simon Evans Goes To Market, which has so far run for five series on the station. He has also had multiple appearances on BBC2’s Live At The Apollo, performed for a season of Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week, won Celebrity Mastermind and guested on Question Time and This Week
Enjoy two of Britain’s top contemporary comedy stars broadcast live from the comfort of their homes, with just the sound of their own thoughts for company! (May contain adult themes and language. Age 18+).
Hosted by Tim FitzHigham (writer and star of Radio 4’s The Gambler, presenter of CBBC’s Super Human Challenge and Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee).
The show is part of a brand new initiative from a group of small, independent theatres and arts centres to both support performers and continue bringing live entertainment to their audiences during these difficult times.
The event is FREE to watch but there will be an option to donate if you have enjoyed the broadcast, with all money raised being distributed equally among the supporting venues (including East Riding Theatre!), each of whom are navigating their way through some challenging financial times.
