In Memory of Clint Wastling

Clint sadly passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday 14th February 2023.
Clint was a much loved husband of Brenda, an amazing dad of Eleanor and Matthew in-law Phil, a brilliant grandpa of Amelia, Beatrix and George. Dearly loved brother of Karen in-law Peter, a loving uncle of James.
He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer late in 2022 but despite the illness Clint continued writing as he has always done and kept a positive frame of mind. Clint's first contribution to Just Beverley was 5 years ago, February 2018, Issue 37: A Short Story - "The Workout". Clint provided our readers on a
monthly basis with either a Short Story or a Poem. As a creative writer, his humour always kept you with him until the very last word.
A celebration of Clint's life was held at The Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby on Monday 6th March at 12.30pm. With a request of No flowers and donations to Pancreatic Cancer UK.
