Hull Trains to keep Hull connected, and passengers moving during industrial action
Wed 15th March 2023Hull Trains services will not be impacted by industrial action affecting most train operators across the country which starts on Thursday.
The local operator has confirmed that it will continue to run a full regular timetable on March 16th, 18th and 30th March, and also 1st April.
Many parts of the rail network will, however, see reduced services on those dates due to industrial action affecting most other rail operators, but it will be business as usual for Hull Trains who are not part of the action and will operate a normal timetable on all its services between Beverley/Hull and London King’s Cross.
Martijn Gilbert, Managing Director of Hull Trains, explained: “We want to reassure all of our customers that Hull Trains’ services are running as normal, and they won’t be affected by the upcoming industrial action affecting many train companies in March or April.
“Our timetables for Thursday 16th and Saturday 18th are now available to view on our website and tickets can be purchased in advance. We will also keep our website and social media regularly updated with the latest travel information and look forward to welcoming passengers on board.”
