Hercules aircraft to fly over Beverley racecourse

Up in the skies above Beverley Racecourse an historic event will unfold today Wednesday 14 June 2023 at 1423 (local time).
The Hercules aircraft are being withdrawn from RAF service on 30 June 2023 and as the only squadron currently still using this aircraft there is a round-Britain fly-past of various airbases. The significance of this is that the squadron, Number 47 Squadron RAF was actually formed on 1 March 1916 at the old 1st World War airfield on Beverley racecourse. Consequently, this will be 'a never to be repeated' event.
Wherever you are in and around Beverley look up to the skies as the fly North to South over the Race Course and the Westwood for a spectacular sight.
