Help Andy celebrate is 60th by cycling 60 miles for charity with him.
Fri 17th September 2021Andy's 60 mile charity cycle ride for his 60th birthday is all in a good cause. He could sit back relax have a beer or glass of wine to celebrate his 60 years, but that is not Andy's style.
This Sunday 19th September Andy is inviting people to join him and help him raise money for the charity "Guide Bogs for the Blind", can you help him reach his target and help him cover the miles.
The Start is Market Cross, Beverley at 9am
Andy will be at Nero cafe from 8.15am, where you can enjoy FREE pre cycle-ride coffee.
Entry fee is £10 - as a donation to 'Guide Dogs for the Blind Association'
In addition to the coffee or tea, each rider will receive a piece of flapjack from "Jayne's kitchen"!
The Route is 60 miles and heads north-west, including the villages of Huggate and Thixendale, before heading back via Millington, the climb at Nunburnholme and Market Weighton.
There are cafes and shops on the route should people need additional refreshments and include the World Peace Cafe at Kilnwick Percy Hall as the ideal stopping point, just beyond half way. Then they will be heading back to Beverley returning to The Tiger Inn for around 2- 2.30pm
