GET READY FOR THE SPRING CLEAN WITH AN OUTDOOR SOCKET!

With January out of the way and spring soon to be upon us, now is the time we start to think about getting involved in outdoor activities and looking forward to the garden spring clean.
In preparation for the jobs ahead - tidying the garden, starting the lawnmower, perhaps power washing the paths and generally getting everything spick and span, outdoor power sockets are a must.
An outdoor socket, which should be protected by an RCD unit, makes working with outdoor electrical equipment so much simpler and safer than using internal sockets. It’s cleaner too; no more dirty flexes poking through a window to an internal socket!
What’s more, housing outdoor sockets in a weather- proof box is imperative, and will reduce damage to the socket caused by rain or dust.
By not taking these precautions you run the risk of malfunction and potential fire.
