Tue 15th January 2019Auction House, Hull & East Yorkshire’s first property auction for 2019 takes place on Wednesday 16th January at 6.30pm in The Attractions Restaurant at Beverley Racecourse.
The first auction of the year is set to be a busy one with 12 lots going under the hammer. They include a mixture of flats and houses in Hull, Beverley and Goole, and an office on Beverley Road, close to Hull city centre.
The auction will be an excellent event for buyers looking for investment opportunities with competitive guide prices. Going under the hammer, are some excellent investment opportunities, mostly with tenancy contracts in place, including a two-bedroomed house on the sought after Avenues area of Hull, a two-bedroomed house on Devon Street in Hull, a house converted into two one-bedroomed flats on New Bridge Road in Hull and two flats in a converted house on Endsleigh Street, Hull.
This first auction of the year follows on from a highly successful 2018 which included five auctions at Beverley Racecourse, raising over £5.1 million in sales.
Simon Dee MRICS, partner and auctioneer at Auction House, Hull & East Yorkshire, said: “We are expecting this to be a strong first auction for 2019 with some interesting and affordable lots going under the hammer, most notably the four investment opportunities for landlords. Last year we saw competitive bidding from packed audiences driving up prices to secure properties and we expect the success of the auction room to continue.”
The local estate agents and auctioneers are part of a multi-award winning national network of property auctioneers, Auction House, which sees regional agents selling properties on their doorsteps while using the strong brand for national coverage.
Simon commented: “Selling vacant properties in need of renovation and ready made investment properties via the auction room has now become a mainstream method of sale which should be considered by those seeking an early result. More and more anxious sellers are choosing our services as we have an active pool of buyers for property types that benefit from competitive bidding. Companies offering to buy your property for a quick cash deal often sell them on through our auctions and as we offer a no sale no fee commission option then you can realise a higher price by cutting out the middle man”
