First Beverley Family Carnival to be held September 1st at Beverley Leisure
Mon 20th August 2018The first Beverley Family Carnival has been set up to raise money for children's charities with 100% of the profits going to supporting 50 pop up schools in the slums of Bangladesh through the EyeSeeMe Project. It will also raise money, and the profiles, of various children-focussed charities. It is sponsored by Woolley and Parks Estate Agents and has the support of the Mayor of Beverley, Councillor Bryan Pearson.
There'll be local entertainers, musicians, music sessions, rides, crafts, food, charity stalls, circus skills, face-painting, performing arts workshops by Pauline Quirk Academy, a Lord of the Rings Costume group, Hull Iron Man, Princesses, zorbs, carts, Dolly Daydreams Party caravan and other attractions.
The EyeSeeMe Project works with street/slum children in Bangladesh, enhancing teaching skills, improving nutrition and building brighter futures.
