Family Fun Day at Sewerby Hall and Gardens in July
Mon 10th July 2023The Family Fun Day will return to Sewerby Hall and Gardens this summer.
This exciting event will be filled with action packed fun and activities, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to take part in a day of outdoor fun, adventure, sport, and learning.
Taking place on Thursday, 27 July from 10.30am -3.30pm, families will be able to enjoy the hugely popular giant inflatables, including Free Fall - Pirate Ship -Bootcamp Challenge and Penalty Shootout. There will also be a chance for visitors to join in with multi-sports and fitness sessions from the Active Coast Team and East Riding Leisure Bridlington, test out their cycling ability, have a go at volleyball, marvel at the creativity of land art, and get involved with many more great activities including giant bubbles.
Also in attendance will be the local NHS Foundation Trust, Bridlington Library, RSPB, RNLI, face painting (additional £3 per person - cash only) and more.
Rusticus will present an imaginative journey into Wonderland, featuring charismatic characters the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts, with madcap activities including crazy croquet and a most unusual tea party. This will be an outdoor performance walk hosted by larger-than-life characters.
The Family Fun Day is included in the standard admission fee to Sewerby Hall and Gardens, and visitors will also be able to take full advantage of all that is on offer at this uniquely situated clifftop venue.
As well as the fun day activities, there will be a concert in the Orangery, a chance to visit the zoo, explore the deep-rooted heritage of the house, and meander around the glorious grounds and gardens before grabbing an ice cream or bite to eat in the Clock Tower Café.
