ERT Needs Your Vote!

East Riding Theatre need your vote to help them win funding for an open access project to engage young people from the community who would not normally have the access or the opportunities to participate and experience work in theatre.
You can register and will have 10 votes to use. You can use either all 10 votes on one project, or split it between different projects.
Facilitating this will be Mike Friend, an international and highly acclaimed director, who will be engaged by ERT in 2017 to produce a Summer Arts Festival with a strong emphasis on community participation; the Youth Theatre Experience Project will form an essential part of this.
Mike has many years of extensive experience working with school children and young people as a theatrepractitioner providing workshops, running drama schools and youth theatres. He has also run similar projects to the Youth Theatre Experience in prisons.
The emphasis is on developing confidence, imagination, cooperation, team work, self-expression, and creativity. Collaboration through ensemble work will provide an essential element to the course.
