Enjoy a Murder Mystery Dinner in Beverley in October!

Lovers of a good murder mystery should put Saturday, 19 October in their diaries, when Beverley Memorial Hall will host a Murder Mystery Dinner from 7.30pm, as part of the East Riding Festival of Words.
'Death at the Dig' will include a two course meal and a 1920s murder mystery, written and presented by Kate Ellis (author of 23 novels featuring archaeology graduate DI Wesley Peterson, and five novels with DI Joe Plantaganet).
Members of the audience will be able to play detective to discover who murdered the famous archaeologist Professor Digson- was it landowner Lady Bramley, or her niece Letty Sweeting? Or could it have been his colleagues Alban Twist or Mabel Setwell, who both disliked him intensely?
The cast for the evening will consist of actors from the popular local amateur dramatic group, The Chameleon Players.
