Beverley restaurants prepare for the new Eat Out to Help Out Scheme
The scheme which comes into place on Monday 3rd August and runs through until the end of the month is to incentivise customers to eat in the restaurants or other eating establishment by giving them a discount.
The scheme is UK wide and customers will be able to see who is taking part on GOV.UK. The scheme will drum up custom on quieter days of the week and means that local restaurants can build business back up.
Features of the scheme
Restaurants can use the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme to offer a 50% discount, up to a maximum of £10 per person, to diners for food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in alongside other deals or promotions which are being offered so customers get extra benefits
The scheme runs all day, every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 31 August 2020.
There’s no limit to the number of times customers can use the offer during the period of the scheme and they don’t need to produce a voucher.
The local businesses are included in an online finder tool for people to use to search for participating establishments.
