East Yorkshire poultry business welcomes latest recruit

An East Yorkshire poultry supplier has created a new sales position to support the growing business.
Middleton-on-the-Wolds based Soanes Poultry has appointed Richard Cross to the new position of Territory Sales Manager.
38 year old Richard joins Soanes from Flair Supplies Group in Driffield and will be responsible for gaining new business in the retail and shops categories and developing the award winning business's current customer base.
Of the appointment, Richard said: "It's a very exciting time to be joining Soanes and I'm looking forward to visiting existing and prospective new clients to share the Soanes story, including our award winning chicken, 72 years of heritage and Yorkshire provenance.
"The team at Soanes is a great mix of people who have worked here for a number of years yet still have fresh ideas that help the business continue to grow."
Soanes Poultry's General Manager, Nigel Upson is delighted to welcome Richard and looks forward to a successful 2019:

When he's not working, Richard, who lives in Nafferton with his wife and three children, enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys cycling.
Soanes Poultry is a family owned business which has been rearing and preparing chicken for 72 years. It currently employs 120 people and rears five million chickens a year on its Yorkshire farms and sells its chicken to butchers and independent retailers in Yorkshire and to wholesalers nationwide.
