East Riding Leisure Beverley takes home double award win

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is thrilled to announce that East Riding Leisure Beverley has achieved remarkable success at the prestigious Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) Performance Networks Awards.
Beverley Leisure triumphed in both the ‘Most Improved’ and ‘Best Performing’ categories for sports and leisure facility management. These accolades were announced during the APSE Awards ceremony held in Blackpool on Thursday, December 5th.
The APSE Performance Network is the UK’s largest voluntary data benchmarking service for local authorities, providing insights into cost, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction across local council frontline services. This year, the awards featured 24 categories, encompassing a wide range of local services.
Participants in the awards submit data that is independently validated and compared with other entrants to identify those demonstrating the best performance or most significant improvements.
Chris Armstrong, East Riding Leisure Beverley General Manager said: “These awards are testament to the combined efforts of all staff within the centre and across the wider Health, Wellbeing and Business Commissioning teams.
