COVID-19 Statement from East Riding College - full closure

The College has been made aware that a member of the college leadership team has had contact with what is now a confirmed Coronavirus case.  The member of staff is now displaying symptoms and is self-isolating. The College have informed colleagues who have been in direct contact with the member of staff and instructed them to self-isolate, following government guidelines. 

Based on advice from the relevant authorities, the College will close at 5:00pm this evening (23/3/20) for the next 14 days.

The College is already closed to the majority of students and those classified as vulnerable who we were expecting to come into College from tomorrow will be contacted to be advised of the full closure.  During this closure period all college sites will be deep cleaned in line with Public Health England guidelines.
