Parkway Cinema and Theatre prepares to welcome Talegate Theatre's pantomime production Dick Whittington from 13th to 30th December 2025.
Recently, cast members stepped out in full costume and makeup for a colourful photoshoot. The shoot gave panto fans a behind the scenes glimpse of the much-loved story, which will be delighting local audiences at Parkway Cinema this December.
Artistic director James Worthington said, "Beverley has become a real home for our pantomime productions. The support here in Beverley is second to none, and it’s fantastic to return with such a classic story.”
The festive season is a time for families and friends to let loose, shout, laugh, boo and cheer bringing Community and Children together to celebrate the festive Christmas spirit.
This year’s line-up promises plenty of panto fun. Lulu Frenett is stepping into the villain role as Queen Rat, squaring off against Tamzyn Mace as the glittering Fairy Bowbells. John Shelley sets out as our hero Dick Whittington, joined by Rebecca Seyhan as the sharp- witted Alice Fitzwarren. Theo Bazeley-Smith adds mischief as loyal sidekick Tommy the Cat, and Beverley favourite Dame James - “the self-titled (minor) celebrity of Yorkshire” - returns as Sally Fitzwarren, complete with the dazzling costumes and larger-than-life humour Parkway audiences know and love and look forward to".
Just Beverley, Parkway Cinema and TaleGate Theatre Productions joined together to give a family a fantastic experience to see "Dick Whittington", at Parkway Cinema’s Theatre on either Saturday 13th December or Sunday 14th December at a showing of the winner’s choice.
Congratulations to Our Winners the Pilsworth family, who joined the Cast on Friday 14th November to collect their tickets. "Oh yes they Did".
