As we approach the festive season, I would like to wish all residents of the East Riding a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Whether you’re gathered around the table, enjoying festive lights, or simply taking time to rest, I hope your Christmas is filled with warmth and joy.
I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to making the East Riding such a wonderful place to live - from volunteers and community groups to local businesses and our dedicated council staff. Your efforts make a real difference every day.
