Brook Taverner's Spring Summer Collection now in store

As the amount of light in a day starts to ever so slowly increase and the shadows begin to shorten, in timing with the changing of seasons you will now see hundreds of new garments available in our Beverley store located at 35 Toll Gavel.
As the British climate dictates, we must now look to put away the heavier garments and the numerous layers that served us proudly throughout the cold autumn and mild festive period with opportunities now arising for thinner knits, warmer colourways, and even the odd polo shirt or two to fill that vacated space in the ever-organised wardrobe. The Brook Taverner Spring Summer 2020 collection certainly sets the appropriate tone for the forthcoming decade. Our in-house design team and buyers pored over the ranges of renowned British and European mills to find looks to fit a fresh colour palette, looking for that something different that doesn’t stray from the attractive and distinctive designs that have always proved successful to our loyal customers.
Thousands of Brook Taverner regulars were consulted to provide their ever-helpful feedback and this went a long way in shaping the new clothing range. These thoughts are reflected in the increased range of cotton-linen combinations as they expressed their desire for the style benefits of linen without the fear of constant creasing as well as more variety of semi-structured jackets to throw off and on when exploring warmer climates.
The final major improvement saw an increased range of lighter-weighted suits and suit-mixes that make summer event attire far more comfortable without compromising on style which reflects the ever-growing need to provide functional clothing that can be uniquely tailored to the individual wearing them.
Other features of the up and coming range sees a new and exclusively woven Harris Tweed in the form of the Valtos jacket which introduces a distinct red check to provide something slightly different from the traditional HT design.
Additionally, more contrasting checks across both jackets and suits and more colourways and styles ever seen before across our shirt, trouser and knitwear collections.
Further feature products that can be found in store from 29th January consist of our best- selling lightweight Tatton and Chirk jackets, the polly-wool mix Packwood jacket with feature lining and the must-have of the season, the Octavia jacket; Woven in Yorkshire, it’s 20% silk structure, combined with it’s fantastic sky blue colourway with subtle colour flecks makes this jacket look and feel wonderful.
With this season in particular, expect more prominent patterns with distinctive checks, perfectly partnered with warmer colours to provide the distinctive style that Brook Taverner has become famous for.
